DelSheree Gladden was one of those shy, quiet kids who spent more time reading than talking. Literally. She didn’t speak a single word for the first three months of preschool. Her fascination with reading led to many hours spent in the library and bookstores, and eventually to writing. She wrote her first novel when she was sixteen years old, but spent ten years rewriting it before having it published. Native to New Mexico, DelSheree and her family spent several years in Colorado for college and work before moving back home to be near family. When not writing novels, you can find DelSheree reading, painting, sewing, and working with other authors. DelSheree has several bestselling young adult series and has hit the USA Today Bestseller list twice as part of box sets. DelSheree also has contemporary romance, cozy mystery, and paranormal new adult series. Her writing is as varied as her reading interests.

Write to Publish

The Write to Publish Series began in June 2025 as an effort to bring writing craft resources to the community of Farmington, New Mexico and the surrounding area.

DelSheree Press is based in Farmington, a small-ish town that often lacks resources for the many writers in this area. The series invites guest authors to speak on a topic he or she excels at or is an expert on.

Author presentations are held at a local independent bookstore, Quill & Quest, once per month, usually from 3:30-5 pm on the 3rd or 4th Saturday. Writers of all ages, ability levels, and genre interests are welcome to attend. For specific times and dates, visit the Write to Publish Facebook page, check the blog, or subscribe to the newsletter.

The series is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to purchase beverages and snacks at Quill& Quest’s bakery, and to purchase books at the store as well as a way to support an independent bookstore and express appreciation for their willingness to host the series.
